Spanish Civil War, Pistols (1936 - 1939), la Vaca Libertaria

	REMINGTON M1871 Cal 50. Made in USA. The Remington pistols and other similars one cartridge system, although old, were used by militians in the first days of the Civil War.
	VICTORY Made in Spain, by Esperanza and Unceta in Eibar, Cal. 6.35 mm, several calibers, and sizes.
	CAMPOGIRO The first pistol made by Astra, Unceta and company, in Guernica, Lime 9 mm Long, organic armament of the Spanish Army until 1921.
	ASTRA M 900 Is a copie of the MAUSER C96, made in Spain by Astra Unceta and company until 1927. Cal. 7.63 mm. Shippers of 10 or 20 Cartridges. Organic armament of the Republican Guards of Assault.
	NAGANT 1895 Revolver (Modification 1930) Cal. 7.62 mm, Drum 7 cartridges. It was a copy of Smith & Wesson Russian Cal.44. They made a copy of this weapon in Spain, in 1914, the "Nagant F.A.G" (F. Arizmendi and Goenaga, Eibar), the Republic received an order of turning around Russian.
	BERGMANN BAYARD M 1903 Made in Germany, Caliber 9 mm Long (Bergmann Bayard). Shipper for 6 or 10 cartridges. In 1905, 3000 units for the outstanding troops in Africa were acquired.
	LUGER M1908 Made in Germany in DWM and later by MAUSER, caliber 9 mm Parabelum, Shipper 8 cartridges, simple Action, was prescribed in the German troops of the Condor Legion.

	STAR M1919 Spanish Star Pistol, model 1919 "Sindicalista", calibers 6,35; 7,65 and 9 mm short.
	MANNLICHER M1903 Made in Austria, semiautomatic, cal. 7.63 mm, load by above, capacity of the comb 10 cartridges, in year 1910 a copy of this pistol was made in Spain, "la Lira", by Garate, Anitua and Compañia, Eibar, cal.7.65, with shipper of grip instead of comb and handles with the initials of the company.

At the beginning of the war, the Republican Army had a good quality guns made by the Spanish gunsmiths.
The first World war, allowed, the development and improvement in the firearms manufacture, with own or foreign patents to spurt to the European nations on war and China, only a few were of this class guns that were imported along the Spanish Civil War.

The Guernica´s ASTRA factory fell into the traitors´s hands , at the end of 1937, this, was forced Government, to produce the pistol in another factories, one of them was in Catalonia (Ascaso pistol) and another one in Levante (400 Astra Spanish Republic).
The combatants exchanged pistols with foreign units or you were confiscated to the war prisoners, sometimes.
